“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light ”

We are called to be different, to live a God- centered life rather than a self- centered life. We are often times so quick to worship the things in this world ... I know this is something that I struggle with myself.
When we take our eyes off of Jesus we are so quick to worship other things. We run to other things for joy, satisfaction,comfort, etc when we should be running to the Lord. None of these other things, whether it’s money, food, sex, entertainment, or material things... none of these things are ever going to fill us up, they won’t satisfy us. That longing in our hearts can only be filled by God.
“For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”
-Psalms 107:9
These other things may satisfy us for a moment, but that satisfaction is only temporary while our God satisfies us for eternity!
We must walk as children of light and let His light shine through us and show the world that God will satisfy us far more than anything this world could ever offer us.
